إن استخدامك للمنتجات البرمجية غير الأصلية قد يؤدي إلى مصادرة أجهزة تكنولوجيا المعلومات، مما سيلحق الضرر بسمعة الشركة أو المؤسسة ويعرّضها للعقوبات المالية والسجن بموجب القانون القطري رقم 7 لعام 2002 بشأن حماية حق المؤلف والحقوق المجاورة، بالإضافة إلى عقوبات أخرى جنائية مثل المصادرة بموجب قانون العقوبات القطري رقم (ا ا) لعام 2004
